Welcome to Troop 82!
We will be hosting a meeting for the parents of interested new scouts on 3-5-12 in the Bell Center at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Check back here for more details to follow.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Troop 82 for the 2012-13 school year, please read the document below titled "New Scout Instructions". You will also need to complete the following forms:
1) New Member Interest web form (complete below and click submit)
2) Fillable BSA Medical Form (download below, fill parts A&C online, save as .pdf)
3) BSA Youth Application (download below, print, complete, sign, and scan to pdf)
4) BSA Adult Application (download below, print, complete, sign, and scan to pdf)
5) Troop 82 Release (download below, complete, sign, and scan to pdf)
6) Certificate of completion of YPT-Youth Protection Training (parent saves as pdf after completion per New Scout Instructions document below)
Please e-mail the completed pdf files from documents 2,3,4,5 & 6 above to our Recruiting Chairman, Van Jolas, at recruiting@hptroop82.org.
Please mail the signed originals of documents 3,4 & 5 to our Recruiting Chairman at the address on the "New Scout Instructions" document.
We will contact you by e-mail to confirm we have received your documents, and help you enroll in our online Troop advancement and communication system, Troopmaster.
Deadline for new scout applications: 5-31-12
We try to finalize our membership by the end of May for the next school year. We may be able to accommodate new scouts after this deadline, but this is not always available due to facility size restraints and program restraints.
